Conscious Collection - March

The arrival of the Spring Equinox is near, plus 2 eclipses. March promises to be a mixed bag of directions that may very well go out like a lion!

Both Venus and Mercury will turn retrograde this month in the sign of Aries. Expect a time to revisit our communications with passion and be stronger about what we want. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and indicate new beginnings with action. With all the recent energy shifts of 2025 , it is evident that more awakening souls will be taking action in their lives and using their power. These are both personal planets meaning they bring our unique expression to the forefront. In a nutshell …..start evaluating where you have not been speaking up for yourself , especially in relationships. Venus retrograde asks us to look at what you want , how beauty shows up in your life and self-love.

It is important to get clear on your needs particularly around money and what you desire. Make a plan to get clarity on needs and communication. I say this because when these 2 planets move direct again in April - ALL planets will finally be moving direct, giving a huge wind behind your back. This is the value of astrology. You have the opportunity to use and benefit from making some healthy choices and then taking action to correct course. Remember that Aries is a cardinal sign by expression and wants change Aries is also a Fire sign and fire energy gives us creative drive and self-expression.

Mars , the ruler of Aries, is also in direct motion. Mars wants action and is not a patient energy, however…..it is in a supportive trine to Saturn. This gives the planet a boost of focused discipline. Some of the best planners have positive aspects to Saturn in their charts. They wait, think about the long term impact , outline how to fit their action in structure, which increases a positive outcome. As Mars will remain in the sign of Cancer until mid-April , we need to address our security & personal needs. What do you still need to do to feel secure, comforted and nurtured? I am talking about taking care of yourself as so many of us focus on others.

SPRING EQUINOX

On March 20 , the Sun is at 0 degrees of Aries - the beginning of the astrological New Year. I am no longer a believer in setting intentions on January 1st as many do in our culture. January 1st falls close to the beginning of winter, which is the energy of quiet reflection .Spring energy gets us all moving again with the increased sunlight and nature slowly exploding with new growth. We have been riding a close stellium of planets in Pisces for several weeks. By March 20, Saturn, North Node and Neptune are very close to the Sun at zero degree of Aries - new beginnings. This is the first time in over 168 years that the planet of completion and spirit has been conjunct the Sun. With Neptune and North Node together, this feels like a dissolving of old missions and boundaries. Time to try your unique approach with more action oriented plans as the North Node is a nudge to our collective and personal missions. This time we get to create it . Old karmic directions no longer serve as the world has changed. Neptune in its ruling sign of Pisces at 29 degrees also adds to a spiritual crisis of sorts, which feels exactly what many of us are feeling at the moment. Our need to collectively gather and help each other is in the air and for empaths , even more so.

Water as Liquid Life Force

Many of you may be familiar with the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto, who took pictures of ice crystals when projected with human emotions, such as love , hate, anger, happiness. I want to tie this into my comments above on Neptune, which by element, is a water sign. All water signs are interpreted as more inclined to be intuitive or using their senses to feel the world around them. From a chemical point of view, water is the only liquid that can go from solid state to liquid and to a gas. There is something magical and unique about this ability. Our bodies are 60-70% water, so we can not escape the influence of the emotions and energies that surround us everyday.

Dr. Masaru Emoto, the Japanese scientist who revolutionized the idea that our thoughts and intentions impact the physical realm, is one of the most important water researchers the world has known. For over 20 years until he passed away in 2014, he studied the scientific evidence of how the molecular structure in water transforms when it is exposed to human words, thoughts, sounds and intentions.

I recently came across a modern day photographer, by the name of Veda Austin, who has taken this concept one step further. She places objects, words or projected thoughts in a small container of water and freezes them. She then takes pictures ( with an iPhone) - the results were amazing. I saw an example of placing an apple seed in the water. Using her process, the photo revealed an apple! Think about this for a moment! 2025 Focus Planet - Neptune

Neptune is the planet of inspiration. The higher octave of Venus, Neptune brings beauty to a higher, more spiritual level. It also holds sway over dreams, the subconscious, illusions, fantasies and all things magical and enchanting. Neptune intensifies intuition and teaches us to be deeply compassionate.

Expect to see the building of a story over the next few monthly posts. Neptune going into the sign of Aries on 3/30 will expand each and every one of us into an active creative being, capable of much more than has been thought possible. Now to be clear Neptune goes through all 12 signs of the zodiac every 168 years or so. So why is this different?

• Neptune will also be in a favorable aspect with Pluto and Uranus as we move through the months ahead in 2025.

• Add expanded consciousness, with the planet of collective transformation( Pluto) with the speed of sudden innovation and invention ( Uranus) and you get collective change.

• Expect to see communication methods transform rapidly with the use of technology and intuition.

There is a reason we have been given a rest period this winter. The balance of 2025 promises action and yes, sometimes action looks like chaos, but we all will be practicing to harness this new energy in the universe to see what sticks. Remember to focus your intention as much as possible.
