Metaphysical Musings - JUNE 2025

I took a break in writing while waiting for the Muse to return. Writing is a mercurial skill , but last night I had a dream or at least a conscious thought on writing this newsletter, partly because today is my Birthday !! In astrology speak, your birthday is a return to your Sun sign being in the same degree as where it was when you were born, thus the Solar return chart that continues to be a powerful tool for your personal year ahead. 2025 for many of us will be a transitional year of change and re-creation. The image above captures my feeling. We have transmuted to a butterfly ready for a new voyage - the issue at hand is where is the ship going???

SO many planetary changes are beginning this month and next. I will give you the breakdown as of June 10th and for the remainder of the month and July.

The collective is feeling a bit lost and stressed , maybe even apathetic. The outside world has become even more chaotic then ever as no structure or secure system is functioning well. The outer planets have officially announced deep change at the end of a long cycle.

Saturn and Neptune are conjunct at the initiation degree of 1 Aries, the first sign of the zodiac. As a cardinal sign this point wants action, something new , something dynamic, something special just for you. Saturn plays well in Aries as it understands change and structure. On the other hand, the energy of Neptune is a bit opposite. Neptune dissolves what it touches but in the way of the spiritual realm, the subconscious mind and the creative. Put these energies together and you get a world that is hard to grasp. Structures and support are here yet they are gone at the same time. The fixes are not coming. We are being nudged into using our imaginations to create new ones and Aries energy wants to get started NOW. Aries can be most impulsive so new ideas that are not well thought out will probably not hold at this time. However you may start the draft. Start composing what you want out of your life going forward . Now that the house has burnt down, we all need a new one. Quit wishing the old one will come back. Game OVER! Agency is something we all have but frequently do not deploy. Experiment with the concept and see how it feels!

Just to spice things up, Jupiter the planet of expansion and our beliefs ( yes, political ones too) has also changed signs to Cancer. Cancer energy is also a cardinal sign demanding change but in a watery, feeling way. This sign wants security & nurturing, mostly with our home and family. It will be cautious, but now the dial has been turned up to feel our beliefs, get emotional and a bit worked up about them. The past year while Jupiter was in Gemini, everything was information, cold facts that you had to decipher. It kept our minds confused , scattered and in overload. When Jupiter is at 1 degree in mid-June it will square the Saturn / Neptune conjunction, creating tension - thus the conflict between the US beliefs of who belongs in our country. Who gets to call this home? Who can be in our family? The irony is the USA has a sun sign of Cancer.

This is where Uranus steps up. It is close to ending a 7 year cycle in Taurus, reshaping our values around money , spending and in general what is really important in our lives going forward. It will shift to Gemini in July but only briefly to get us thinking and then go for a final clearing at the end of 2025 and part of 2026. Uranus is the great awakener in astrology. Add Pluto now in the sign of Aquarius and we now stand in a time of technology driven society. AI is quickly making itself known and I highly suggest you give it a try somewhere in your life. Our new values will start to see the benefits and yes, also the downfalls of data, quick solutions, NEW solutions and change as never before. Uranian energy is about freedom and independence. These 7 years will change our collective thinking and mind-set.

Guide yourself through the choppy waters of June and July. Rest as needed and enjoy the nature that is abundant in summer.
